DigiDiary Privacy Policy

DigiDiary (“the app”, “we”, “our”) is a personal journaling application. This Privacy Policy explains what information DigiDiary collects, how it is used, and what choices you have.

1) Information We Collect

A) Journal content you create

  • Diary entries, mood selections, and dates you write in the app are stored locally on your device.
  • We do not upload your diary text to our servers.

B) Exported files

If you use the Export feature (PDF/Excel):

  • The app creates export files and saves them to your device’s storage (for example, your Downloads/DigiDiary folder or another location you choose).
  • These files are stored on your device and are accessible according to your device settings and apps you share them with.

C) Purchase information (DigiDiary PRO)

If you purchase DigiDiary PRO:

  • Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing.
  • We do not collect or store your payment card information.
  • The app may store a local flag on your device indicating whether PRO features are active.

D) Analytics / crash data

  • DigiDiary does not intentionally collect personal data for advertising.

2) How We Use Information

We use information only to:

  • Save and display your diary entries on your device.
  • Generate export files you request.
  • Enable PRO features after purchase.
  • Maintain app stability and fix issues (only if diagnostics tools are integrated).

3) Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

4) Data Storage and Security

  • Your diary data is stored locally on your device.
  • We recommend using your device security features (screen lock, encrypted storage) to protect your data.
  • Exported files are stored on your device; protecting them depends on your device settings and where you store/share them.

5) Your Choices

You can:

  • Edit or delete diary entries within the app (if the app provides delete/edit options).
  • Delete exported files manually from your device storage.
  • Uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data (subject to Android backup/device settings).

6) Children’s Privacy

DigiDiary is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, please contact us.

7) International Users

Your data is stored on your device. Purchases are handled by Google Play, which may process data according to Google’s policies.

8) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” at the top when changes are made.
